Team Manager Responsibilities for Cold Lake Minor Ball
1. **Team Registration & Roster Management**
* Ensure your team's roster is complete with player names, jersey numbers, and staff roles (manager and at least one coach).
* Submit the roster on the LMBL website before the season begins.
* Your teams official roster is the one posted on the LMBL website. This will be locked from editing part way through the season.
2. **Game Score Reporting**
* The **home team** is responsible for entering the game score within 24 hours after the game.
* The **away team** must verify the score within 48 hours.
* Ensure the official scorebook is shared between both teams, as the score recorded here is considered final. ([lmbl.ca][1])
3. **Game Rescheduling & Cancellations**
* If a game needs to be rescheduled, coordinate with the opposing team. Both teams must agree on the new date and time.
* Inform the league of any changes by emailing [games@lmbl.ca](mailto:games@lmbl.ca) with the division and team names.
* Games canceled due to reasons other than inclement weather must be reported at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit. 
4. **Pitch Count & Player Safety**
* Ensure that a pitch counter is present at each game.
* Maintain a pitch count logbook, which must be available for review upon request.
* Complete the pitching log at the end of each game and have the opposing coach/manager sign it.
* Track the number of innings pitched by each player to ensure they adhere to the league's pitching rules. ([d2llontario.ca][2])
5. **Uniforms & Equipment**
* Coordinate the distribution and collection of team uniforms.
* Ensure all equipment is in good condition and available for each game.
* Return uniforms and equipment at the end of the season, following the league's guidelines.
6. **Communication**
* Act as the liaison between coaches, players, and parents.
* Keep everyone informed about game schedules, changes, and other important information.
* Utilize tools like TeamSnap or the LMBL website to communicate effectively.
7. **Volunteer Coordination**
* Organize parent volunteers for tasks such as scorekeeping, pitch counting, and field preparation.
* Maintain a volunteer log to track hours and responsibilities.
* Ensure all volunteers are trained and understand their roles.
