Rally Cap Program

Welcome to Rally Cap!

The Rally Cap Program is an exciting introduction to baseball for young athletes. Designed for players ages 4 to 7, the program focuses on developing fundamental skills in a fun, active, and supportive environment.

Our goal is to help players build confidence, learn the basics of the game, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of baseball.

Who Can Participate?

The Rally Cap Program is designed for players aged 4 to 7 years old.

As this age group requires additional support and supervision, a parent or guardian must remain at the field during all Rally Cap sessions. For our youngest participants, parents may be asked to assist on the field during activities and drills.

What to Expect

Rally Cap is built around fun, participation, and skill development. Each session combines baseball fundamentals with engaging activities that keep players active and involved.

Players will have the opportunity to learn and practice:

• Throwing and catching
• Hitting and base running
• Fielding fundamentals
• Teamwork and sportsmanship
• Game awareness and baseball basics

Activities are designed to maximize participation and ensure every player is involved throughout the session.

Program Format

Each Rally Cap session includes a variety of age-appropriate activities and stations that focus on skill development and game play.

Players rotate through:

• Offensive activities
• Defensive activities
• Skill-development stations
• Modified games

Program modifications are used to ensure all players remain engaged while learning the fundamentals of baseball in a positive and encouraging environment.

Team Size

Teams typically do not exceed 10 players, with smaller roster sizes helping maximize participation and development opportunities for each athlete.

Early registration is encouraged, as team formation and apparel orders are finalized prior to the start of the season.

Parent Participation

Rally Cap is not a drop-off program.

Parents and guardians must remain available at the field throughout each session. Parent involvement is an important part of the program and helps create a fun, safe, and successful experience for all participants.

Coaching & Volunteering

Rally Cap relies on volunteer coaches and parent helpers to provide a positive experience for young athletes.

No previous coaching experience is required. Cold Lake Minor Ball provides coaches with resources, support, and guidance throughout the season.

Parents interested in volunteering are encouraged to get involved.
